Both Bolivar Central and Middleton varsity football saw defeat at home in their opening games on August 17.

Bolivar Central Golf has played twice in the first week of school, both at Hardeman County Golf and Country Club.

The Bolivar 10U All-Stars were the last team standing at Southaven, winning a pair of games in their bracket to finish 8th in the Dizzy Dean World Series.

The Bolivar 10U Girls All-Stars played seven games in three days, finally bowing out in fourth place at the Dizzy Dean Softball World Series at Greenbrook Park in Southaven, MS July 11-13.

Three Bolivar teams brought home the first place hardware from Germantown July 6-7, highlighted by a come-from-behind win by the 8U All-Stars.
