Tiger Volleyball Reloads for 2018
With trips to Murfreesboro three of the last four years, Middleton Volleyball coach Zeke Craft knows what he needs from his team to make the final eight again.
“Consistency. We are struggling with consistency. We show signs of being great, we play great teams and play right with them, but we haven’t finished games,” he said, adding they have played a tough schedule so far.
And while the last four years, Middleton has only faced in-district competition from Trinity, this year is different.
“Scotts Hill is improved and Madison (Academic) is really improved.”
Craft says injuries have hurt them early but they are getting healthy, and it shows.
“We played at Freed Hardeman last weekend and while we didn’t make the gold bracket, we got in the bronze and beat Millington, Ezell Harding and Fayette Academy. We’re close to peaking and I love our attitude.”
