10U Girls Finish Fourth

The Bolivar 10U Girls All-Stars played seven games in three days, finally bowing out in fourth place at the Dizzy Dean Softball World Series at Greenbrook Park in Southaven, MS July 11-13.
The girls, coached by Leah Nuckolls, Hallee Childress, Will Ross, and Jeremy Whitfield, began the series with a loss to Lynn Haven, but they managed to claw back through the losers bracket finally bowing out to second place Southaven by a 10-3 score.
Their journey included three games in a row on Friday, which ended with the loss to Southaven.
