Early Voting in the Presidential Preference Primary and Hardeman County Democratic Primary continues at the Hardeman County Election Commission on Porter Street in Bolivar until February 25, with Election Day scheduled for March 3 at precincts around Hardeman County. The Democratic Primary has only one race with a candidate, as Assessor of Property Josh Pulse is running unopposed for his third term in office. As of February 19, only 141 had voted.
Both Bolivar Central Basketball teams reached the semifinals of the District 15AA tournament with wins on Monday and Tuesday.  Bolivar is hosting the district tournament for the first time since 2003. For more Sports, see A12-13. Photo of Nakidra Champion by Heather Pulse.
