Jarvis Cortez Boyd was born to Ernest Ray Douglas and Hattie Michelle Boyd-Smith on Feb. 12, 1988 in Jackson.

Anthony Dewayne Jarrett passed away suddenly on Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016.  He was born on July 12, 1967 to Horace and Myrtle Neely Jarrett in Hardeman County.   

Services for Tommy Allen Brooks, 76, of Bolivar were held Monday, Jan, 18, 2016 in the chapel of Shackelford Funeral Directors in Bolivar.  Burial was in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.  Brother George

Betty Tyson passed away Jan. 8, 2016 at 5:35 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio.
She lived in Toone for many years and was born in Talahassee, Fla. on July 8, 1922.

Graveside services for Elizabeth Sammons Gale were held Saturday, Jan. 16, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery near Whiteville.  Mrs. Gale, 94, of Winter Haven, Fla.
