Betty Tyson

Betty Tyson passed away Jan. 8, 2016 at 5:35 p.m. in Dayton, Ohio.
She lived in Toone for many years and was born in Talahassee, Fla. on July 8, 1922.
She is survived by her  son-Edwin "Eddie" Tyson Jr of Bellbrook, Ohio; daughters: Vanessa Tyson-Davis (Richard) of Bellbrook, Ohio; Romona Coy (Ron) of Spring City and Carolyn Norman(Lewis) of Dyersburg; also, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was a seamstress for many years and a sitter with several ladies of Toone/Cloverport area. She was in the Army for four and a half years-so proud of her service time (being an MP) she told them she was born on 1922 when she was born in 1926. If you needed help she would  be one of the first to help if she could. But would not let anyone help her-she was to proud to ask for help. She was active up to the day she broke her hip while mowing grass on April 12, 1915.
