Jarvis Cortez Boyd

Jarvis Cortez Boyd was born to Ernest Ray Douglas and Hattie Michelle Boyd-Smith on Feb. 12, 1988 in Jackson.
On Friday, Jan. 1, 2016 he answered the call and ascended to a place of eternal rest.
Funeral service was held Saturday, Jan. 9, 2016 at Union Hill MB Church-Whiteville,  with Pastor Jerry Crisp delivering the eulogy.  Burial was in the Smith Chapel MB Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
He was proceeded in death by his paternal grandmother Jessie Marie Douglas and maternal grandfather Leo Boyd.
Jarvis was educated in the Hardeman County School system. He graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 2006. He also attended Lance College in Jackson.
