Damon Bernard Hawkins passed away on Monday Feb. 8, 2016 in Germatown, Maryland.  He was born Sept. 29, 1974 in Washington D.C. to Inell Hunt Manley and Bernard Malvin Hawkins Jr.

Mary Dean Chandler passed from this life early Saturday morning, Feb. 13, 2016 at Lynnfield Place in Selmer at the age of 91 years, 11 months and five days.

Lisa Evans Miller was born Dec. 28, 1961 in Jackson, the daughter of the late James Howard and Flossie Jane Pitts Evans.
She was united in marriage to Thomas Miller on Feb. 14, 1996.

Mamie V. Majors, age 88 of Bolivar, passed away early Sunday morning, Feb. 7, 2016 at Pine Meadows Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Bolivar.

Memorial services for Herbert Earl Moore, Jr., age 61, will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016 in the chapel of Lawrence-Sorensen Funeral Home with visitation from 3-4 p.m.
