Next to You, Next to Me at the HCAC

The Hardeman County Arts Council will take a step back in country music history when the Honky Tonk Angels will take the stage September 9-11.

Showtimes will be 7:00 p.m. on September 9 and 10, with a 2:00 p.m. matinee on September 11.

When three gutsy gals from different backgrounds take charge of their lives, they decide to follow their Honky Tonk dreams to the city of Nashville. Honky Tonk Angels features over 30 songs by the pioneers of women in country music such as Stand by your Man, 9 to 5, Coal Miner’s Daughter, Rocky Top, These Boots Are Made For Walking and I Will Always Love you.

The HCAC seeks to provide the best in artistry, entertainment and culture by informing, enchanting and inspiring the community through the presentation of local groups, individual artists and major art organizations that will nurture and promote the arts.

The Arts Council will have Karaoke Night on September 17, and Hardeman’s Got Talent is scheduled for October 1 at 6:00 p.m.
