Juneteenth Celebration Set

The Hardeman County Commission for Black History will host the annual Juneteenth Celebration June 18 at Sand Beach Lake in Bolivar.
Facilitated by Pastor Barbara Fitzhugh, the celebration that will begin at 11:00 a.m. with feature activities for children, local performers and entertainment, and food and crafts vendors on site.
There will be a forum for Hardeman County candidates running for office to addresses the crowd as well.
Proceeds will go toward the Elizabeth W. Lake Multi-Cultural Scholarship Fund. For more information on the event or vendor setup, contact Lesa Jones at 731-609-8275.
