The Hardeman County Middle School Softball tournament will be October 2 at Middleton. The four-team tournament will begin with 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. semifinals and conclude with a 1:00 p.m.

Former Bolivar Central Basketball player Paris Taylor will join the Chaminade Silverswords this winter after a year at Wisconsin Green-Bay and two years at Walters Community College.
