The Hardeman County Youth Commission, with help from a Tennessee ThreeStar Grant, saw the dedication of a new T-Ball field for Middleton on October 14.
In their final home game of the season, the Middleton Tigers jumped out to an early lead, and cruised to a 34-6 win.
The Bolivar Middle School Girls Softball team came into the Hardeman County Softball Championship as the #3 seed, but beat the #2 and #1 teams to win their first title in seven years.
Before what is being guessed as the biggest crowd to attend a Bolivar Central Football game in the last 20 years, the Tigers blew out traditional rival Jackson South Side 42-7 on September 22.
The 2017 Hardeman County Middle School Champions will be crowned September 30 at Bolivar Middle School.
