Hardeman County high school basketball teams began their first week of play with victories for three of the four teams on opening night.
Bolivar Central saw their season end with a 41-13 loss to Raleigh Egypt on November 2 in the first round of the TSSAA State 3A Playoffs.
The final game at Woody Woods Stadium in Bolivar was a lot shorter than expected as Bolivar and Covington played a rain-shortened game that saw the Chargers beat the Tigers 47-20.
Bolivar Central clinched a TSSAA Playoff spot by beating Martin-Westview 47-20 at UT Martin on October 20.
