Big Hill Pond State Park to hold Public Lands Day event

Participants are invited to Big Hill Pond State Park in Pocahontas for a Litter Derby on Saturday, September 27. The Litter Derby coincides with National Public Lands Day.
“Every state park is required to do something on this day,” said Justin King, with Big Hill State Park.
