Giving Back to the Community

Vaughan Oil Company, with the cooperation of local and regional government put their free heating oil program into place for the fifth year in a row.

“We are honored to be a continued partner in this giveaway. Thank you to Greg Vaughan for providing this service to the citizens each year. He sees a need and is always there to help our community,” said Hardeman County Mayor Todd Pulse.

Working with local governments to select those who qualify, Vaughan gave kerosene to Hardeman County citizens on December 21 at Vaughan Oil Company.

“I am proud to work with those who give so much to Hardeman County. A special thanks to Vaughan Oil for their generosity to help families keep warm during this Holiday season,” said Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic.

In the past, the giveaway was largely done in coordination with the Hardeman County Mayor’s office, but in 2022, the scope expanded, getting other elected officials involved.

“Thanks to Vaughan Oil for teaching us the spirit of giving and sharing wealth,” said Tennessee State Representative Johnny Shaw. “Greg is perfect example of this quote: there’s more success in giving than receiving.”
