City Council Appoints New Member

A former Bolivar City Council member was elected by the Bolivar City Council to replace a departing member of the council.

Mr. Mike Brown, who served two terms in the Bobby Sain and Charles Frost administrations, was elected by a 3-2-2 vote of the remaining members.

Brown was among three who had expressed interest in the position. Also vying for the position were Chris Williams and former City Council member Randy Hill.
