Commission passes pledge and moment of silence resolution

“Whereas, there are forces that each day seek to attack fundamental American rights and whereas, each citizen of the United States owes his or her allegiance to their country,” is a statement contained in the Resolution passed by the Hardeman County Commission which urges the Board of Education to take action and require the Pledge of Allegiance to be recited each school day and a student led moment of silence be held each day.
