Hardeman County cattleman John R. Harris was puzzled this past week when he discovered the grass in the center of one of his pastures had been killed in a strange pattern.
County Commissioners received a copy of the proposed county budget for 2015-2016, which results in over one million dollars being cut in the county budget.

The Hardeman County Landfill, which normally operates Monday through Saturday, was closed Saturday, June 6, due to continued violations of state regulations.
