The Weekend of the Year
The Tennessee Forest Festival highlights a weekend of events for seven different groups beginning Thursday, September 26.
The Tennessee Forest Festival will begin things with a ribbon cutting and opening ceremonies on Thursday, with the carnival and other events included. See below and A14 for details.
The Hardeman County Agri-Business Center, which now houses the University of Tennessee Extension Service, will have their open house on Friday at 1:00 p.m.
Music on the Square will take place Friday night with the Tennessee Forest Festival Demolition Derby on that night as well, with Homecoming at Bolivar Central at R.A. Butler Field going on in addition.
Saturday will have Rotary Chicken Cooking, Lions Club Flag Football, the Association for the Preservation of Tennessee Antiquities will have a Heritage Day at The Pillars and the Bolivar Main Street will have Al Green in concert in the Bolivar Downtown Amphitheatre for their monthly Open Air on the Square. The Forest Festival, among other things, will have a Paul Bunyan Loggers Show at the Pavilion on Saturday.
