Telling the Truth with Fiction

Bolivar resident Amy Dodd Pilkington's latest release, The Lesser of Two Evils, is the story of Laura Bennett, who shares her experience with emotional, physical and sexual abuse at the hands of real life monsters. The thing is though...it's not just a story.
"There has been much speculation over the book's content. It was published as fiction, but I intend to announce that the book is indeed based on a true story. This will confirm rumors surrounding its origin. It is my story, and it happened here in Bolivar. I have not publicly confirmed the book is nonfiction. As a lifelong resident of this county, I would like to break the news here before the story goes public on a national level," she said.
