The Governor Comes to Whiteville

Governor Bill Lee made a visit to Hardeman County on March 8, as he attended a round table discussion at the Tennessee College of Applied Technology (TCAT) in Whiteville.
In the round table discussion were Lee, Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain, Hardeman County Schools Superintendent Warner Ross, Tenneesse State Senator Dolores Gresham, State Representatives Ron Gant and Johnny Shaw, Lone Oaks Director Ben West, TCAT President Jeff Sisk, Hardeman County Chamber of Commerce Director Laura Hall, and Hardeman County Industrial Board member Larry Crawford. Many educators and local officials attended as well.
It was the first visit Lee, who has made education a big part of his first few months in office, has made to a TCAT since his election.
