Drug Bust Nets Nine Arrests

A raid by the Hardeman County Sheriff's Department on June 23 resulted in nine arrests and the seizure of marijuana, vehicles, guns, and cash from 209 Martindale Cove in Bolivar.
Eight of the arrested are listed on the report as under 26 years of age. They are: Reginald Dewayne Matthews, 23, of Whiteville; Ray Cordale Brown, 26, of Bolivar; Quinterrius Deontray Stewart, 20, of Bolivar; Donmarrius Trevonte Coby, 19, of Bolivar; Christopher Davlon Reaves, 25, of Bolivar; Dimitics Quinntius Whitehorn, 25, of Bolivar; Ivan Chris Joy, 21, of Bolivar; and Xavier Alex Jones, 21, of Bolivar. A ninth, Keyon Joy, 34, of Bolivar, was arrested as well.
The charges on the nine ranged from possession with the intent to sell, manufacture, or deliver, unlawful drug paraphernalia possession to possession of a firearm in the attempt to commit a felony.
According to Hardeman County Sheriff John Doolen (pictured above), seized were 1,912 grams (approximately four pounds) of marijuana, two 9mm guns, two bottles of codeine syrup, three vehicles, and approximately $3,000 in cash. One of the firearms was stolen, according to the report.
The court date for each of the nine is set for July 18 at 8:30 a.m.
