Commission Outfits Sheriff’s Department

The Hardeman County Sheriff’s Deputies got new gear this past week as the Hardeman County Commission voted to spend the money to outfit 31 deputies with Kevlar vests.
“We are very grateful that Mayor (Jimmy) Sain and the County Commission supported our efforts and helped us with getting up to date equipment,” said Hardeman County Sheriff John Doolen. “Our deputies appreciate the attention of local government.”
Bullet-proof vests typically last 5-7 years, according to Chief Deputy Billy Davis.
