Bolivar to Open Pleasant Run Creek Park

The City of Bolivar will officially open Pleasant Run Creek Park in the coming weeks, beginning with an event for the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library.
The park has 170 acres, featuring walking trails, a fishing lake, green spaces, and disc golf, with plans for expansions that include picnic tables and a possible arboretum walking trail.
Pleasant Run Creek Park has been in the works for approximately four years, clearing land and creating trails for walking and more holes to the nine-hole disc golf course already in place.
On August 5, the park will be open for a color run event that will benefit the Bolivar-Hardeman County Library. The event is $15 per person to participate.
