The Boat Dock Gets Smashed

The City of Bolivar will remodel the area on Highway 18 North of Bolivar to take the place of the Boat Dock, which was demolished on August 26.
In November of 2018, the city announced they had received a grant to build a 20x30 foot pavilion with picnic tables and a wooden deck near the water wheel while the building on the property would be torn down and replaced with a grassed area.
Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic guessed the project will take on the next step in late fall.
