Big Weekend of Music in Downtown Bolivar

Music on Friday and Saturday night in the Bolivar Downtown Amphitheatre will highlight the weekend of September 11 and 12.
Friday night, the Deep River Band will take the stage with John Spears of the Band of Jones opening up the night at 7:00 p.m.
On Saturday night, Gospel Music on the Square will feature Angie Phelps opening for Master’s Call. Master’s Call, a West Tennessee based group, began about 26 years ago as an all male group, The Fishermen Quartet, singing barbershop style southern gospel music. Now the group is made of of two families, Tommy Jones, his daughter and son-in-law, Denise and Mickey Jackson, Jimmy Roe and his son Jeremy.
Music on the Square, in it’s 13th year, is an outreach of the Bolivar Downtown Development Corporation.
