Tigers lose last home game

Friday night football in Middleton proved to be a challenge as the Tigers took on Kipp Phoenix.  Starting out the first quarter the Phoenix put the first score on the board.  The Tigers suffered two injured players during the first half of the game, yet both players walked off the field on their own power.   The Phoenix managed to intercept two of Middleton's passes during the second quarter one of which resulted in a touchdown run.  Middleton answered these turnovers with two fumble ball recovers.  Late in the fourth quarter Middleton was down 54 to 0 as they made their final push.  It was clear in the last minutes of the game that the Tigers spirit would not be broken.   During the last 20 seconds of the game Middleton made a pass to the end zone caught by Middleton’s number 4, Howser.  This made the final score Kipp 54, Middleton 6.  This was Middleton’s last home game of the regular season.  They face the Adamsville Cardinals Friday, October 23.
