Middleton Wins County Tournament

The Middleton Middle School Lady Tigers defeated Hornsby 39-24 to win the Class A Hardeman County Middle School Championship at Hornsby Elementary on January 7.
On January 6, Middleton earned a berth in the final game against the number-one seeded Hornsby Lady Bulldogs with a 33-2 win over Toone at Bailey Howell Gymnasium in Middleton.
Both the Lady Tigers and the Lady Bulldogs advance to the next stage, a regional tournament with teams from McNairy County that will begin later this month.
