Middleton ladies send seniors off with a win

The Middleton Lady Tigers Volleyball team celebrated senior night with a 3-0 win over McNairy Central at home on Thursday night, October 1.
The Tigers won in three games 25-10, 25-8, 25-8, with several players contributing to the win. Christian Woods had 14 kills two aces, Jazmine Cosby had six kills two aces, Kira Collier had eight kills, Talandra Sain had four kills, Polly Dowty had two kills and two aces, Kayleigh Lanier had one kill and two aces, and Megan Leslie had 27 assists.
“The girls played well,” Middleton Head Coach Zeke Craft said. “We are figuring out how to be consistent."
After the match, Middleton honored their two seniors, Christian Woods and Jazmine Cosby with banners, flowers and a pizza party.
“I have had the pleasure of coaching both girls since the seventh grade. They are both true leaders on the team,” Craft said.
Both seniors were sad to see their time on the team come to a close.
