Dizzy Dean baseball ends regular season

The Bolivar Dizzy Dean baseball league ended their regular season on Saturday, June 6, with an awards ceremony.
The 4,5,6, division was a tight race with the regular season ending in a four way tie. The Gym, Home Run Pizzeria, Hyman Tires, and Dorris Logging each had a record of 8-4. They began playoffs on Monday, June 8, with The Gym against Home Run Pizzeria, while Hyman Tires against Dorris Logging. The two winning teams were to play for first.
Dorris Logging defeated Hyman Tire 13-4. The Gym was leading Home Run Pizzeria 10-0 when rain cancelled the game.
The winning team in the 7-8 years old division was Merchant's and Planters Bank. There were no individual awards in this division.
The winning team in the 9-10 years old division was the Bank of Hardeman County. Caleb Clifft, who played for The Bank of Hardeman County, won the pitching award for this division.
The winning team in the 11-12 years old division was Bolivar Insurance and Real Estate. Robbie Canten was the winner of the pitching award in this division.
The other two awards given out went to Peyton Brown. He won the hitting award and the home run award. In addition the 2015 Dizzy Dean All Star Teams were announced for each division.
