Bunch Reaches 1,000 Point Milestone

Bolivar Central senior basketball player Navaeh Bunch scored on a layup in the first half of Bolivar’s 72-40 win over Bolton on February 2 to surpass 1,000 points in her career. Bunch finished the game with 9 points and 12 rebounds for the Lady Tigers.

“She’s the definition of a student athlete,” said Bolivar Central Head Coach Christie Parker also praising her for her team leadership, “On the court and off of it.”

Bunch scored 79 points her freshman year, 298 her sophomore year, 321 her junior year and got to the 1,000-point mark in the 23rd game of her senior year.
