Bolivar Tennis Youth Movement

Bolivar Central Tennis began their season with a couple of rough days, but with the lack of experience, Coach Ian Wellons wasn’t surprised. “We’ve got a lot of new players,” he said. “And only a few of them have ever played on the team before,” explaining that only two on his boys team played last year and it was only one match apiece.

Wellons began his season with non-district foes Hardin County and Chester County, both who have perennially strong teams. “I wanted to give my team looks at what really good players do.”
