BMS Cross Country team places third at St. Mary’s

The Bolivar Middle School Cross Country team place third in their final regular season meet, on Thursday, September 24, but struggled in the district meet on Thursday, October 1, failing to place in the top five.
In the St. Mary’s meet, the top three teams were all within six points of each other. Jackson Christian School (JCS) finished on top with 77 points, while University School of Jackson (USJ) finished second with 79 points, and Bolivar finished third with 83 points.
“The top three teams were neck and neck the whole race. All these teams are competitive with us each race. They (JCS and USJ) got us in the end this time,” said Bolivar head coach Allison Wright.
