Bolivar Central boys (19-11, 7-5) blowout loss to Wooddale on March 3 ended the hopes of a team from Hardeman County making it to Murfreesboro.
The Tigers trailed 18-13 to Wooddale after a quarter, but got outscored 39-20 in the second and eventually fell 107-71.
The Bolivar girls (11-18, 7-5) fell 54-43 to Memphis Mitchell in Memphis, bowing to Mitchell for the second year in a row in their final game.
The Middleton boys (10-15, 4-6) fell in the first round of the Region 7A tournament, falling 61-56 to District 13A Champion Union City.
The Middleton girls lost in the first round of the district, falling 68-25 to Madison Academic Magnet on February 18, ending their season at 4-18, after a district season record of 2-8.
