No matter how high tech we try and get in the outdoors, Miss Nature will always have an ace up her sleeve. Nature has a way (without battery operated gadgets) to balance the (her) playing field. We try and beat the odds by planting food plots, putting up trails cameras, so on and so on. I guess what it boils down to is luck. Without luck, pretty much we’re always playing a losing hand.
    We do all the prep work and homework we can and try our best to bluff Mother Nature on a daily basis. Our biggest trump card is determination. All around the Hatchie area we are blessed with outstanding opportunities. When we finally get it in our mind to succeed, magic happens.
    When the planets lineup and everything falls into place, we thin, we have it all figured out.
    Ha! Mother Nature will always have the upper hand. My thang is shuffle up and deal! Whatever she deems fit to play, I’ll deal with it the best I can. Before long we’ll (hunters) will dawn our orange vest’s and play the game.
