WES Celebrates Red Ribbon Days

Whiteville Elementary celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 28-November 1. During the week students dressed down to promote drug free messages. We had 'sock it to drugs', 'give drugs the boot' and other themed days. Our resource officer Courtney Howell coordinated the week. Students also participated in a coloring contest and received prizes. Sergeant Tommy Naylor, Officer Randy Warren and Officer Courtney Howell educated students on the dangers of drug abuse during a school assembly on Friday, November 1. Thank you to Officer Howell and the Whiteville Police Department for sponsoring this event.
