Adoptable Animal of the Week

Toby #17614 is an adult male mixed breed. He is approximately five years old. This big guy weighs in around 90lbs! He was adopted from us as a puppy, but now his owner had to relocate and couldn’t take him along. He has a wiry coat that does not tend to shed much. Sadly, he is heartworm positive and will have to undergo treatment. He is such a beautiful boy! If you are interested in adopting Toby, fostering him during his heartworm treatment, or helping pay for his vet bills, please contact (preferably by text message): Charla Cooper at 731-234-4421 or Jennifer Smallwood at 731-609-0408. You can also check out our Facebook page, Hardeman Adoptable Animals, Inc. You can also come to the shelter. We are located inside the county landfill (Walton Road), and volunteers are there between 9-1 each day. HAA, Inc. is a 501©3 not-for-profit organization. Adoption fees are $125, and this includes all vaccines, spay/neuter, and care while at the shelter. If you are calling to report a loose dog, please call Animal Control at 731-658-9032. To call the shelter looking for a lost dog or to speak to a volunteer, please call 731-659-3040 and leave a message. Need to have your dog OR cat spayed or neutered? Need to have it done for free? Contact us to find out how you can do that!
Any high school senior in need of community service hours, please contact an HAA volunteer! We can help you get your TN Promise hours!
Mosquitos are back! Which means your dog is at risk of getting heartworms. Please talk to the vets at Old Hatchie about heartworm prevention and why it is important!
