Willie Jordan Hunt

Deacon Willie Jordan Hunt was the first of 13  children born to the late Leroy Hunt and Robbie Hunt in Grand Junction. Funeral services was held Saturday,  October 24, 2015 at Rivers of Life International Ministries with Apostle Manuel Donis in charge.  Burial was in the Pleasant Grove cemetery.
Deacon Hunt attended Hardeman County schools. After graduation, he relocated to Memphis where he spent his early adult years.  Upon returning to Grand Junction, Willie worked at the Cotton Gin until he was hurt on the job. He later worked for Ledbetter.  In his later years, Deacon Hunt worked for  Harold Thompson until his health prohibited him to do so.
At an early age, Willie professed Christ as his Lord and Savior and joined Pleasant Grove Church.  He served faithfully as a Deacon for many years until his health failed. He was also a member of the Good Shepard Lodge.
