Virginia F. Boyd, 89, of Bolivar, departed this life Saturday, May 23, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar with Freddie Clifft officiating. Interment followed in Bolivar Memorial Cemetery.
The widow of Raymon Boyd, who died on December 15, 1984, after almost 36 years of marriage, she worked as Assistant Postmaster with Western Mental Health Institute and as a rural carrier and clerk with the Bolivar Post Office over 30 years.
