Rayfus Jenkins

Rayfus Jenkins, 76, of Grand Junction passed away on Monday Dec. 7, 2015 at his residence after a lengthy illness.  He was born on April 20, 1939 in Hardeman County to the late Walter Jenkins and Corine Grayson Jenkins.
Funeral service was held Dec. 12, 2015 at 1:00pm at Jones Chapel MB Church-Grand Junction with Reverend Ricky Peete in charge.  Burial was in the Grand Junction Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home was in charge of the professional service.
He was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and retired from Sequentia Inc.-Grand Junction.  He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Prospect CME Church-Grand Junction.  He was served on the Steward Board and was Sunday School Superintendent.
