Lillie Robertine Cavazos

Lillie Robertine Cavazos, age 92 of Toone, passed from this life early Wednesday morning, November 18, 2015 at her home.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Ebenezer Baptist Church in Toone, with Dennis Callahan officiating. Interment followed in Ebenezer Cemetery. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar provided the professional arrangements.
A native of Hardeman County, Mrs. Cavazos was born Friday, July 13, 1923 to James Thomas and Hattie Lee Young Dillard. She graduated with the class of 1941 from Bolivar Central High School and worked at Harmon Automotive, Western Mental Health Institute and First South Bank. She was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church where she taught Sunday school and was a member of the cemetery committee. She was united in marriage to Mr. Elijio Christie Cavazos, who preceded her in death in May of 2006.
