John Ollie Rucker

John Ollie Rucker transitioned from time to eternity on Thursday, October 1, 2015 at his home in Saulsbury. John was born on November 11, 1939 to the late Joe and Callie Rucker. Funeral service was held Saturday, October 10, 2015 at Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend James Justice II in charge with burial in the Watkins Cemetery-Saulsbury.
John grew up in Grand Junction, where he attended grade school. At a young age he accepted Christ into his life at St. Paul MB Church. John moved to Bolivar when he was a young adult and was employed at Bolivar Packing Company.
In 1963 he married Barbara Clark, to this union six children were born. One daughter, Barbara Arlene and one sister, Melvia Fason, preceded him in death. John loved his family he was  diligent worker and provided. He was an employee of Hooper Sawmill. He also worked various other jobs.
In 2004, John met a lady by the name Rose Etta Prewitt, they fell in love and got married. He remained a loyal, loving husband until his death.
