Joe Kenneth McMahan

Joe Kenneth McMahan, age 70, passed away Wednesday morning, Dec. 9, 2015 at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis.
Mr. McMahan was born Sunday, June 17, 1945 to the late William Dewey and Ruby Alice McMahan in Hornsby. He was married to Linda Cox on Oct. 30, 1966. He was a life-long, self-employed Farmer. He graduated from Middleton High School with the class of 1964, and served in the Tennessee National Guard from 1966 to 1970. He enjoyed many things such as rabbit hunting, logging with horses, cookouts, listening to gospel, country, and bluegrass music, spending time with family, sitting on the front porch swinging, and being outdoors. He spent all of his life living in Hornsby.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Dec. 13, 2015 at Shackelford's Bolivar Chapel with David Howell and John Kirk officiating.  Burial was at Hatchie Cemetery in Hornsby.
