James Alvin Embrey

James Alvin Embrey was born July 19, 1947 in Hardeman County to the late Robert Sr. and Annie Bell Embrey.  He departed this life at his home on Sunday August 23, 2015. Funeral service was held Saturday, August 30 at St. Paul Skipper Springs MB Church with Pastor Algie Terry in charge with burial in the church cemetery.
He confessed  to Christ at an early age  and joined St. Paul Skipper’s Spring Church.  He moved to Rockford, IL where he lived his early grown up years.  He was employed at Gunite Company in Rockford.  
James returned to his roots in Grand Junction and renewed his membership with St. Paul. He served as a faithful member and was ordained as a deacon on July 26.  He served as a city policeman and worked at Sequintia in Grand Junction.  He was a dedicated worker until his health forced him into early retirement.
