Burnell P. Wright, age 92 of Whiteville, passed away Sunday morning, July 5, 2015 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital following a brief illness.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar's Main Chapel with Bill Sorrell officiating. Interment followed in Melrose Cemetery in Whiteville.
Mrs. Wright was born Thursday, November 23, 1922 in Hornsby, Tennessee to the late Slater and Lillie McClintock Partridge. On March 16, 1952, she was united in marriage to Mr. John Winfred Wright, who passed away September 22, 2005.
