McTizic and Sain Go to Washington

Representing Southwest Tennessee Development District at Tennessee on March 15 were Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain and Bolivar Mayor Julian McTizic, who met with Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Haggerty about broadband funding for BEA and infrastructure funding for the Blue Oval City.

“It was an honor to meet with our Senators to discuss major issues in their offices. We are well represented and they are very much informed on our needs,” remarked Sain.

Mayor McTizic was also happy with what he heard.

“I am very pleased with the responses from our Senators and their efforts to support Bolivar and all of West Tennessee,” he said.
