Teaching the Power of Produce to Kids

The Bolivar Farmers Market hosted the “Power of Produce” or POP on July 17. POP will be done through September, allowing children to appreciate the fresh foods that Hardeman County’s farmers make available for purchase with POP bucks.
Hardeman Healthy Outreach debuted the POP club in the spring of 2021, letting kids grow their own plants in earth or “bunny boxes” at their schools and child care facilities, while planning for market days this summer.
