The decaying oak tree on the south side of the Hardeman County Courthouse was removed on November 17. The bidded process cost nearly $7,000 according to Hardeman County Mayor Jimmy Sain and the work was done by Memphis Tree Service. The tree measured 6’8” at the trunk.
