Boo Bear named Pet of the Week

Boo Bear is a male, two-year-old mixed breed.  He is a small fellow, weighing only 18 pounds.  He tested very lightly positive for heartworms and will be retested prior to adoption.  He has been neutered and is up-to-date on his shots.  This precious little man is ready for a home of his own. He is very unhappy in the shelter and is much better suited to be curled up in a lap.
He tries to keep a clean kennel, and has a playmate to share some outside time with. Is this the dog for you? Boo Bear must be adopted as a housedog only.  He is not suited for life outside.
If you are interested in adopting or fostering Boo Bear, please contact one of our volunteers: Charla Cooper (234-4421); or Jennifer Smallwood (609-0408), or visit our new website:hardemanadoptableanimals.org.  You can also come out to the Shelter and meet our dogs!  Volunteers are at the Shelter (located at the Hardeman County Landfill on Walton Road) every day from 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
You can see pictures of available dogs at Petfinder.com and on our Facebook page, Hardeman Adoptable Animals, Inc.  We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization. HAA, Inc. is not affiliated with the Hardeman Co. Humane Society.

Adoption fee covers all medical costs (including heartworm testing and prevention) and care while at the shelter.  All dogs are “fixed” and up-to-date on shots prior to adoption.
*HAA is in need of daily volunteers.  No amount of time donated is too small.  Please consider helping out and making 2016 a great year for the dogs of Hardeman County!
