Bolivar shooting leaves one injured

A shooting in the 200 block of East Jefferson Street on Friday, August 15, left one man in stable condition, after receiving a gunshot wound to his chest. According to the Bolivar Police report, “Patrolman Ross was dispatched to 211 East Jefferson street in reference to shots fired. Upon arrival on scene, I (Ross) observed a black male (Lequonta Cross) laying against a white car. I observed a brown towel over his chest.
